Police continue to investigate an accident in Twin Falls County that claimed the life of a 19 year old male from Buhl.  The accident just after noon Sunday happened at 3600 North and 1300 East.  The Buhl man driving a pickup collided with a front end loader that was turning when the two collided.



A case against one of Idaho’s highest-profile agricultural companies has been granted the green light to proceed.  Snake River Waterkeeper filed a lawsuit against Simplot feedlot, located in Grand View for allegedly violating the Clean Water Act. The suit alleges that the company is not taking measures to prevent excessive pollution from manure from entering the Snake River. 



Police are looking for a suspect after a man was found dead at a Canyon County campground over the weekend.  Deputies with the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office found the 40-year-old victim at Martin Landing Campground on Friday night.   Authorities say the death is being investigated as a homicide.



The Caldwell School Board unanimously approved a $100 pay-to-play athletics fee.  The change is one of many underway in Caldwell schools after voters failed to approve the district’s supplemental levy in May. The levy, which had been on the books for over 30 years funded student transportation.



Idaho’s average gas price increased by two cents this week.  According to AAA, today’s average price for a gallon of regular is $3.61,which is about three cents more than a month ago, but 30 cents less than a year ago.   Meanwhile, the national average currently sits at $3.52 per gallon.



43 year old James Ramsey formerly the overall leader of the Idaho prison gang known as the Aryan Knights pleaded guilty yesterday to one count of conspiracy to participate in a racketeering enterprise and one count of assault with a dangerous weapon in aid or racketeering.   With the guilty plea, all defendants in a 10-defendant case charged in 2019 have now pleaded guilty. Sentencing for Ramsey is set for October 22.



The national weather service has issued an excessive heat watch for the area.  The warning for southern Idaho is in effect from Thursday afternoon through Monday evening.  Temperatures will be pushing near 100 degrees.
