Colorado State's Dallin Holker's 33-yard tipped touchdown reception as time expired lifted the Rams to a 31-30, come-from-behind victory over Boise State at Canvas Stadium in Fort Collins, Colo., Saturday. The Rams scored three touchdowns in the final 4:01 of regulation to take down the Broncos.
Elsewhere from the Saturday college games, the Montana Grizzlies defeated the Idaho Vandals 23 to 21 and Idaho State squeaked out a win over the Eastern Washington Eagles 42 to 41.
From the scoreboard Friday night football in southern Idaho, Richfield defeated Challis 54 to 24. Mountain Home took the win over Caldwell 40 to 33. It was Carey defeating Murtaugh 32 to 12. Camas County took the win over Castleford 67 to 8. It was Declo 55 Filer 27. Hagerman defeating Hansen 58 to 20 and Burley downed Jerome 33 to 20. Kimberly outlasted Buhl 36 to 19. Lighthouse outlasted Glenns Ferry 38 to 28 and it was Oakley 70 to Valley 14. Butte County for the win over Raft River 54 to 14. Dietrich took the win over Shoshone 66 to 6. Twin Falls downed Canyon Ridge in the service bowl 43 to 8 and Wood River defeated Gooding 20 to 13.
On today’s schedule for high school games, to district tournament Volleyball action, Minico travels to Twin Falls to play Burley. Jerome and Canyon Ridge travel to Wood River. The Sun Valley Community School travels to Declo to play Wendell. Carey and Shoshone travel to Murtaugh.
