It was Carey outlasting valley in the panther’s homecoming game 8 to 6. Dietrich downed Castleford 40 to 20. Kimberly shut out Filer 55 to 0. Buhl took the win over Gooding 31 to 7. It was Hansen 56 Shoshone 22. The Jerome tigers lost their homecoming game to Wood River 24 to 21. Oakley outlasted Lighthouse Christian 60 to 38 and it was Declo 21 Marsh Valley 16. Minico defeated Canyon Ridge 51 to 13 and it was Twin Falls defeating Mountain Home 68 to 22. Raft River took the win in their homecoming game over Glenns Ferry 73 to 42 and it was Wendell 24 over American Falls 6. Bishop Kelly took the win over Burley 59 to 7.
In a cross country meet at the Kasota Park Invite, the Burley Boys were the victors. 19 schools competed in the meet.
From the college football games from over the weekend, Ashton Jeanty found the end zone four times on Saturday, but Boise State wasn't able to capitalize falling to Memphis 35-3. Elsewhere, the Linfield Wildcats from Oregon took the win over Lewis Clark 41 to 6. Montana the victors over Idaho State 28 to 20. The Idaho Vandals won their game over the Eastern Washington Eagles 44 to 36.
On to the high school sports schedule for today, first for boys soccer, where Minico travels to Canyon Ridge. Twin Falls heads to Burley. Jerome travels to Wood River.
For the Girls, Minico travels to Canyon Ridge. Wood River heads to Jerome and Burley boards the bus to Twin Falls.
There is one local volleyball game set when Wendell travels to Valley.
