Never count these Broncos out. Boise State rallied back from a 20-point deficit to stun San Jose State in front of a raucous crowd of 37,491 at Albertsons Stadium Saturday evening. The final score 35 to 27. The Broncos return to action on Oct. 14 at Colorado State. The game will kick off at 7:45 p.m. MT and be televised on FS1.
Elsewhere the Idaho Vandals defeated Cal Polly 42 to 14 and Pacific Northwest Christian took the win over Lewis Clark Valley 27 to 22
From the High School scoreboard, in Football action, Camas County shut out Shoshone 63 to 0. Buhl defeated Wendell 29 to 21. Canyon Ridge defeated Mountain Home 58 to 13. Dietrich shut out Hansen 52 to 0. Glenns Ferry outlasted Carey 34 to 32, Gooding outlasted Filer 25 to 18. Hagerman defeated Castleford 44 to 0. Minico took the win over Jerome 81 to 20. Murtaugh defeated Raft River 72 to 36 and it was Twin Falls 27 Burley 20. Valley took the win over Lighthouse Christian 66 to 34. It was Declo 27 to West Side 26. Kimberly defeated Wood River 48 to 7.
In boys soccer in District play, Bliss defeated Gooding 2 to 1. Kimberly for the win over Buhl 1 to 0. The Sun Valley Community School topped Declo 5 to 0. Wendell for the win over Filer 5 to 1.
In girls district games, Bliss took out Wendell 1 to 0. Buhl defeated Filer 3 to 2. It was Kimberly defeating Gooding 5 to 1. The Sun Valley community school took the win over Declo 10 to 0.
In Volleyball games, Filer took the win over Marsh Valley 3 to 0. Grace defeated Oakley 3 to 0. It was Murtaugh over Rimrock 3 to 0. Watersprings took the win over Lighthouse Christian 3 to 2.
On today’s high school schedule, for district boys soccer, Mountain Home travels to Wood River, Burley heads to Twin Falls to play Canyon Ridge.
For the girl’s district tournament Mountain Home heads to Canyon Ridge, Wood River goes to Twin Falls.
In Volleyball games Hansen travels to Castleford and Shoshone heads to Wendell.
