Boise State head Coach Spencer Danielson announced Wednesday that Bush Hamdan will be retained on staff as the team's offensive coordinator while adding the title of associate head coach. Hamdan's new contract is subject to approval by the Idaho State Board of Education. Hamdan's deal, solidified this week, comes as the Broncos are in Los Angeles preparing for the LA Bowl.
From the high school basketball games yesterday, first for the boys. Jerome downed Buhl 51 to 47. Hagerman trounced on Hansen 64 to 23. It was Camas County 74 over Murtaugh 56. Oakley bested raft River 66 to 36. It was Valley defeating Rimrock 50 to 27.
For the girls, Filer outlasted Gooding 75 to 47. Jerome defeated Canyon Ridge with a score of 73 to 37. Minico took the win over Mountain Home 65 to 47. It was Kimberly 43 Buhl 31.
On today’s schedule for varsity high school games, first for boys basketball, Watersprings travels to Raft River. Challis travels to Carey. North Fremont visits Declo. Jerome goes to Kimberly. Burley travels to Wood River and Minico travels to Preston for the Indian Classic.
For the girls, Challis heads off to Carey. Raft River goes to Butte County and Hansen visits Lighthouse Christian. Kimberly boards the bus to Canyon Ridge and Dietrich travels to Castleford. Wendell will travel to Richfield. Hagerman goes to Shoshone. Century travels to Twin Falls to take on the Bruins.
