The Bengals men's basketball team played rivals, the Idaho Vandals Saturday. The final score Idaho Vandals 55 over Idaho state Bengal’s 53. This was their second meeting of the year with the Vandals. The Bengals defeated to UI in Pocatello earlier this season, and have downed Idaho in their last seven meetings in a row. The Bengals men's basketball team will be back in action on Saturday hosting the Weber State Wildcats at 6 pm in Reed Gym.

The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team beat Snow College 85-71 Saturday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play. CSI, 20-7 overall and 6-2 in conference play, travels to USU Eastern and Colorado Northwestern next week. The Golden Eagles and Salt Lake are tied atop the conference standings with North Idaho one game back.
For the CSI ladies, Kaylee Headrick pulled down 16 rebounds and added 14 points to lead the 15th-ranked College of Southern Idaho to a 76-62 win Saturday over Snow in Scenic West Athletic Conference play. The Golden Eagles go on the road to take on USU Eastern Thursday before hosting North Idaho in their final regular season game March 2.
The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team took two more games Saturday from Treasure Valley, beating the Chukars 12-2 and 3-2. CSI, 9-5 overall, opens the Scenic West Athletic Conference schedule at Southern Nevada March 1-2.
More scores from men’s college basketball over the weekend include Northwest Nazarene downing Central Washington 56 to 46. For the ladies, it was Anchorage Alaska defeating Northwest Nazarene 70 to 59. Idaho downed Weber State 60 to 47.
The Dietrich Blue Devils Girls Basketball team took the state championship over the weekend in Nampa by defeating the Kendrick tigers 55 to 53 in Overtime.
In the 4A consolation game, Bishop Kelly overpowered Jerome 58 to 40. Filer said no to Fruitland in the 3A consolation Game. The score 56 to 48. In 1A D1 play, Prairie Took 3rd place by defeating Oakley 60 to 41 and Murtaugh took the win in the consolation game by defeating Valley 54 to 44.
On todays boys high school district tournament basketball schedule, Castleford and Lighthouse Christian will meet in Jerome. Kimberly travels to Buhl, and Raft River and Carey will duel it out in Jerome.
