Boise State's offense was firing on all cylinders, led by five scorers in double figures, in a 92-72 win at Wyoming on Saturday.   Boise State remains out on the road and will play at Air Force, Tuesday, Feb. 27.


An explosive fourth quarter from Natalie Pasco led Boise State past Fresno State, 70-65, Saturday afternoon in ExtraMile Arena.  The Broncos will take on UNLV, the top team in the conference, on the road on Wednesday, Feb. 28. The game will tip off at 7:30 p.m.


The Idaho State Bengals wrapped up the ASU/GCU Classic falling to Ohio State 5-2 Sunday morning in Phoenix, Arizona.  The Bengals move to 11-6 on the year and finish the ASU/GCU Classic 1-4.  The Bengals are back on the west coast this next week playing in the California Baptist Tournament. The Bengals will face off against Cal Poly, St. John's and California Baptist.


The Idaho State men's basketball team squared off with Weber State for the second time this season this evening. In their first matchup in Ogden, Utah the Bengals walked out with a double-digit win, and will search to complete their first season sweep of the Wildcats for the first time since 2003-04 season..  The Bengals men's basketball team will return to the court on Leap Day, Thursday, February 29th as they play their second to last home game of the season, hosting the Northern Arizona University Lumberjacks at 7 pm in Reed Gym.


The Idaho State Bengals walked into Dee Events Center in Ogden, Utah and came away -with a dominant 72-57 win over the Weber State Wildcats to sweep the series 2-0.  The Bengals move to 11-15 on the season and 7-8 in Big Sky Conference play.


The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team completed the weekend sweep against Yakima Valley with 8-3 and 10-6 wins on Saturday.  The Golden Eagles, 14-6 overall, open Scenic West Athletic Conference play next Friday when they host Southern Nevada.

 

The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team trailed at halftime but had a solid second half to beat Colorado Northwestern 79-67 Saturday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.  The Golden Eagles, 21-8 overall, play their final regular season game Saturday at home against North Idaho.

 

In boys district high school basketball games from the weekend, Kimberly will be heading to state after defeating Fruitland 75 to 52.  Kimberly and Filer will play in the state tournament at Meridian High School February 29th.  Elsewhere Twin Falls took the win over Canyon Ridge 63 to 50.  Camas county downed Dietrich 71 to 26.
