Boise State took the win this weekend 94-56 win over Air Force, Saturday at ExtraMile Arena.  Boise State is on the road for its next two games: at Colorado State tomorrow and at Utah State Saturday.


The Bengals men's basketball team looked to close out their four-game road trip with a win Saturday afternoon in Flagstaff, Arizona against the Northern Arizona University Lumberjacks. Idaho State took the win 81 to 79.  The Bengals men's basketball team will return home to Reed Gym, hosting Sacramento State on Thursday and Portland State on Saturday.


Elsewhere in college basketball from over the weekend, the Idaho Vandals defeated Montana State 81 to 75. 


The 21st-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men faced a tough road game Saturday, falling to North Idaho 91-73 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.  The Golden Eagles host Southern Nevada Thursday and Community Christian Saturday.


The College of Southern Idaho ladies came away with a win Saturday at North Idaho College, beating the Cardinals 73-66 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.  CSI, 21-4 overall and 4-1 in conference play, hosts Southern Nevada Thursday.


The College of Southern Idaho Softball Team improved defensively and in the circle this weekend, finishing up the Arizona Western Tournament with a 13-0 win over Glendale and a 7-3 win over Pima Saturday. 


From the high school games played over the weekend, for the boys On Saturday Minico defeated Shelley 55 to 47.  Glenns Ferry outlasted Murtaugh 62 to 53.  On Friday Valley defeated Grace 58 to 57.  Butte County outlasted Raft River 51 to 42.  Camas County took the win over Glenns Ferry 82 to 49.  The Sun Valley Community School for the win over Shoshone 53 to 36.  Dietrich overpowered Castleford 66 to 53.  Wendell outlasted Declo 61 to 44.  Grace Lutheran took the win over Richfield 43 to 36 and Sugar-Salem victors over Kimberly 67 to 59. 


From the district playoffs for the girls, Friday, Twin Falls outlasted Jerome 39 to 36.  The Bruins are heading to the district championship for the first time since 2017. The top-seeded Minico Spartans will host the Bruins on Thursday, February 8th for the championship.  Jerome will host Burley on Tuesday in a loser-out game


Minico took the win over Mountain Home 56 to 49.  Mountain HomeTigers will host Wood River in a loser-out game on Tuesday.


Raft River outlasted Carey 41 to 33.  Raft River Trojans stay will play in a loser-out game against Valley on Tuesday. Tip-off is set for 6:00 from the College of Southern Idaho.

Valley took the win over Glenns Ferry 62 to 44.  The Vikings stay alive in the tournament. They will play in a loser-out game against Raft River on Tuesday. Tip-off is set for 6:00 from the College of Southern Idaho.


On the high school varsity basketball schedule, for the boys today, Wendell travels to the Sun Valley Community school, Burley goes to Caldwell, Dietrich is on the bus to play Camas County.  Hagerman travels to Castleford.  Hansen will visit Murtaugh.  Oakley boards the bus and heads to Shoshone. 


For the girl’s district games, Wendell travels to Declo and Gooding goes to Kimberly.
