Abby Muse recorded the third triple-double in program history as No. 6 Boise State women's basketball rolled past No. 11 Utah State, 85-49, Sunday night in the first round of the 2024 Mountain West Women's Basketball Championship. Boise State advances to the quarterfinals of the 2024 Mountain West Women's Basketball Championship to take on No. 3 Wyoming. The game will tip off at 8:30 p.m.


From Orem Utah, Boise State defeated Utah Valley 8-2 and Weber State 13-5 in five innings, Saturday in nonconference softball.  The Broncos finished the weekend with a 4-0 mark, scoring 51 runs in 23 offensive innings while batting .425 as a team. Boise State opens its home season, Friday against St. Thomas at noon in the City of Trees Classic.


The Bengals men's basketball squad played in the second round of the Big Sky Men's

Basketball Tournament Sunday night. Taking on the Northern Colorado Bears for the third time on the season. The Bears swept the Bengals in their season series, UNC winning in 2OT in Greeley, and by just two in Pocatello. The Idaho State men's basketball team will be advancing to the semi-final round of the Big Sky Conference Tournament tomorrow at 9 pm.  The Bengals will face off with the winner of 3rd seeded Montana and 6th seeded Portland State who play tonight, at 8 pm.


Idaho men's basketball concluded their 2023-24 season at Idaho Central Arena Saturday night. The Vandals fell in the first round of the Big Sky Tournament to the Sacramento State Hornets, 72-64.


The 17th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Softball Team bounced back from a 18-10 loss in game one to take game two 5-4 in extra innings over 12th-ranked Salt Lake Community college. CSI, 14-7 overall and 6-2 in conference play, hosts Snow College Friday and Saturday.


Battle back. That was the mantra for Boise State men's basketball.   The broncos took the game with a 79-77 win at San Diego State, Friday.  Boise State heads to the Mountain West tournament, where it will open play on Thursday, in the quarterfinals as the three seed.

Elsewhere, the Alaska Seawolves defeated northwest Nazarene 64 to 63.  For the ladies, Colorado State downed Boise State 64 to 50.


The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team loses to Salt Lake CC 87-65 Saturday in the Region 18 Championship.  The Bruins will advance to the district playoff for a berth in the NJCAA National Tournament. The 25th-ranked Golden Eagles still have a shot at an at-large berth but will have to wait for the selection show.


The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team lost to 14th-ranked Salt Lake 4-3 and 7-5 Saturday to complete the four-game Scenic West Athletic Conference series.  Tied through seven innings in game one, Salt Lake pushed across a run to win in the bottom of the eighth.


The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team came up just short in game one, losing 2-1, but fought back and took game two 8-3 Friday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.


The Twin Falls Bruins softball team began this weekend with a doubleheader against the Vallivue Falcons splitting the series Saturday.  In game one Twin Falls fell 14-13 in 8 innings.  Twin rebounded and won game two of the doubleheader 16-10.


In another softball double Header, Homedale downed Kimberly 11 to 0 in the first game but

Kimberly bounced back to take the win in the second 5 to 2. 


In baseball over the weekend, Buhl won their first game against Payette 4 to 2 while Payette took the win over Buhl 14 to 4.  It was Homedale 10 Filer 0 in the first game and Homedale 14 Filer 2 in the second.  Bishop Kelly took both games against Wood River 7 to 1 and 10 to 0.


Sugar Salem downed Burley 6 to 5 and Minico defeated Sugar Salem 10 to 0.
