After a six-cent jump last week, Idaho gas prices are once again beginning to calm down.  According to AAA, today’s average price for a gallon of regular in the Gem State is $3.61, which is two cents less than a week ago.



A former Bingham County Sheriff’s Office deputy appeared in court yesterday after she was involved in a fatal crash.  38 year old Stephanie Grisham is facing a criminal charge for misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter.



A 61 year old Twin Falls man is facing felony DUI charges after driving the wrong way on Gannet road in Bellevue.  Authorities say Darrel Eugene McCabe attempted to flee a sheriff deputy by using his vehicle to jump a canal and run from them when they attempted to detain him.  He has 3 other DUI convictions and his driver’s license was indefinitely suspended in 2011. 



A 76 year old woman found lying in the middle of Main Street in Ketchum has been charged with Battery after she struck a deputy who was helping her out of the road.  Terry Capone began kicking and biting officers when they were trying to help her.



A U.S. Forest Service firefighter was injured while fighting a wildfire in Idaho’s Salmon River Ranger District.  26 year old Justin Shaw was struck by a falling tree Saturday evening.  He is listed in critical condition. 



Idaho’s Governor Housing committee is considering building a home for the governor.  Currently Brad Little receives just over 45-hundred dollars a month to pay rent and utilities at a downtown Boise Condo.  That money, from the sale of the previous governor’s mansion is about depleted. 



A Nampa man was arrested in Rupert yesterday by the U.S. Marshals service charged with two counts of first degree stalking and violating parole.  Austin Allen Genius was taken into custody on West Varsity Drive.



It’s Fair week for a couple of local counties.  Both Gooding and Cassia County fair and rodeo are underway this week.  Tonight in Burley there is an ATV rodeo and tomorrow the parade hits the streets at 10.  The Gooding rodeo begins tomorrow and continues through Saturday.  In Burley the rodeo starts Thursday.
